God Doesn’t Cause Our Pain—He Heals It ❤️‍🩹
Posted on February 7, 2025
Too many people believe that suffering is a sign of God’s judgment. When things go wrong—whether sickness, loss, or hardship—some assume, “God must be punishing me.” But that’s not who He is. God is love, and He is our healer.

When Jesus’ disciples saw a blind man in John 9, they asked, “Who sinned, this man or his parents?” They believed his suffering must have been the result of sin. But Jesus corrected them.

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” (John 9:3)
Jesus didn’t blame the man. He didn’t say, “God made him blind to teach a lesson.” Instead, He healed him—because God’s heart is always to restore, not to destroy.

We Are Not Sinners, But We Can Have a Sin Consciousness
As believers, we are no longer sinners—we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). However, many still live with a sin consciousness—a mindset that keeps them feeling unworthy, guilty, or condemned.

But the Bible says:
“For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us… ‘Their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.’” (Hebrews 10:14-17)

Jesus didn’t just take on our sin—He became sin for us, so that we could live in righteousness, healed and whole. Yet, if we constantly see ourselves as sinners, we’ll live in condemnation instead of freedom.

Sin consciousness makes people believe that suffering is their fault and that God is holding something against them. But Jesus already paid for it all! There is no more punishment left for those in Christ.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

God Works All Things for Good—Not for Harm
Pain and suffering were never God’s plan. They came through sin, but Jesus redeemed us from both sin and its effects. That’s why Romans 8:28 reminds us:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

If you’re facing hardship, know this:
God is not punishing you. He is with you, working all things together for your good. You are not a sinner—you are His beloved, His righteousness, and His redeemed!

Do you receive this truth today? Then declare:
-I am the righteousness of God in Christ!
-I am free from sin consciousness!
-God is my healer, not my accuser!

Two Powerful Words: "I'm Sorry"
Posted on January 30, 2025
There are moments in life when words hold immeasurable weight. Today, I encountered one of those moments. Someone from my childhood reached out to me—someone who had been carrying the weight of guilt for years. They stood before me with tears in their eyes, their voice trembling as they spoke two of the most powerful words: "I'm sorry."

They weren’t apologizing for something intentional. They weren’t asking for anything in return. They had simply come to release the burden of regret for not being there when I needed them. The weight of what they carried was heavy—years of wondering if they had failed me, years of guilt for something they couldn't change. And in that moment, all I could say was, "It’s okay."

I had long let go of any hurt. I understood something that took me years to grasp—people do what they know until they know better. And often, we assign responsibility to people for things they were never equipped to handle.

As I looked into their eyes, I saw healing begin. Their tears weren’t just about me; they were about the freedom they were stepping into. The power of repentance and grace was at work, reminding me of what Jesus taught:

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." – Colossians 3:13

Forgiveness isn’t just about releasing others—it’s about freeing ourselves. It allows us to move forward without being tethered to the past. And sometimes, we don’t even realize how much we need it until the moment comes.

The Moral of the Story
When someone apologizes, it’s not always for our healing—it’s often for theirs. We never know how deeply regret weighs on a person until they finally release it. And when they do, we have a choice: to meet them with judgment or to extend grace.

For those of us who are 50+ faith-based women, this is especially important. We’ve lived enough life to have our share of regrets, disappointments, and missed opportunities. But the beauty of wisdom is that we no longer need to hold onto things that no longer serve us. We can be vessels of healing, reflecting the grace of God to those who need it most.

So, if someone comes to you and says, "I'm sorry," let them. Let them unburden themselves. Let them experience the same grace that God has extended to us. Because in that moment, healing flows—not just for them, but for us as well.

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." – Ephesians 4:32

"Resilience in God’s Hands: Trusting Him Through Life’s Challenges"
Posted on January 21, 2025
Life has a way of throwing challenges at us, and this past season has been one of the most challenging yet. As I reflect, one blessing stands out above all—the resilience God has given me through my health challenges.

Having undergone multiple surgeries, I’ve experienced firsthand how God strengthens us in our weakest moments. Despite the pain and uncertainty, He has consistently shown me how to persevere. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Through this journey, I’ve learned to trust God’s timing and provision in ways I never had before. I’ve also seen how He uses these moments not just for my growth, but to minister to others. During my two-week hospital stay, I had the opportunity to encourage a nurse and a fellow patient in ways that could only come from Him. Those divine moments reminded me that even in the middle of my trials, God can use me for His glory.

Now, my heart is to inspire women over 50 who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or think their best years are behind them. Let me encourage you—no matter your age or the season of life you’re in, God still has blessings and assignments for you. He’s not finished with you yet.

What’s on my heart to share with you is this: your challenges don’t disqualify you from your calling—they prepare you for it. The very things you’ve endured may be what God uses to bless and impact others. My story is proof that even in life’s hardest seasons, He is working for good.

Your God Assignment Comes with His Authority: Lessons from Women in the Bible
Posted on November 10th, 2024
Ever felt like God was calling you to something big, but doubt whispered, “You’re not enough for this”?

Here’s the good news: When God gives you an assignment, He equips you with His authority to carry it out. And we’ve got some powerful examples of women in the Bible who prove this truth!

Esther: Positioned for Such a Time as This

Esther wasn’t a queen by chance. God placed her in a position of influence to save her people. When the moment came to risk her life by approaching the king, she could’ve let fear stop her. But she boldly stepped into her God assignment, and His authority paved the way for her success.

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)

Lesson: When God calls you, He positions you and gives you favor to fulfill your purpose.

Deborah: Leading with God’s Wisdom

Deborah was a prophetess and judge in Israel—a rare position for a woman then. She didn’t shrink back; she led with boldness and wisdom. When Barak hesitated to go into battle, she reminded him that the victory was already God’s. With His authority, Deborah helped lead Israel to triumph.

“Go! This is the day the Lord has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the Lord gone ahead of you?” (Judges 4:14)

Lesson: God’s authority gives you the confidence to lead, even when others doubt.

Mary: Saying Yes to the Impossible
When the angel Gabriel told Mary she would carry the Messiah, she didn’t have all the answers but had faith. Mary’s obedience to her assignment wasn’t about her qualifications but about God’s authority working through her.

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” (Luke 1:38)

Lesson: God’s authority makes the impossible possible when you say “yes” to your assignment.

The Woman at the Well: Transformed to Transform Others

The Samaritan woman wasn’t a leader or a prophetess—she was an outcast. But after her encounter with Jesus, she became a messenger of the Gospel, bringing her entire town to meet the Savior.

“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony.” (John 4:39)

Lesson: God’s authority transforms you so you can transform others, no matter your past.

Your Turn

God’s authority isn’t reserved for the “perfect” or the “qualified.” It’s given to those who are willing to step into their assignment. So, just like Esther, Deborah, Mary, and the Samaritan woman, you don’t have to rely on your strength—God’s power is working through you.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
